Jeffery C. Ward, M.D. Infusion Center
Thank you for your gift that supports the expansion of our infusion services to better serve patients at Swedish Edmonds, named in memory of the late Edmonds oncologist, Jeffery C. Ward, M.D.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ward served many roles at Providence Swedish Cancer Institute (PSCI) – physician, colleague, leader, mentor, teacher, friend, caregiver, and advocate. He was not only a role model in providing exceptional and compassionate patient care but also played an integral part in developing and implementing policies to make cancer care more accessible and affordable at the state and national level. He was a tireless advocate for underserved communities, patients’ rights and healthcare reform, and cared deeply about finding ways to give people the opportunity to live fully, even in their last stages of life. Dr. Ward made a lasting impact on countless lives, and his legacy will continue for years to come.  
After bravely weathering a year of melanoma, Dr. Ward passed away peacefully at home in 2022. It was an honor for him to be cared for by the same exceptional team of doctors, nurses, and staff that he worked alongside for so many years.
